EXODUS: We Are Still Searching For A Singer!
February 3, 2003Reunited San Francisco Bay Area thrashers EXODUS are still seeking a permanent replacement for Steve "Zetro" Souza following several promising jam sessions with John Miller, a local Bay Area singer who had previously spent time with EXODUS guitarist Gary Holt and drummer Tom Hunting in the mid-'90s metal demo act WARDANCE.
"We are still searching for a singer," EXODUS manager Steve Warner confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "The guy John Miller that we were working with is not our guy. He has a lot of 'issues' that we are unable to take on. We really can't afford to inherit any new problems. Musically, he was more than we could have asked for. It was his job to lose, I told him, and well, it only took him less than two weeks to lose it."
Singers interested in auditioning for EXODUS are encouraged to send their CDs/demos to the following address:
EXODUS
10026 San Pablo
El Cerrito, CA 94530
USA
On another note, Warner said, "Yesterday was the one-year anniversary of [former EXODUS singer] Paul [Baloff]'s death, and I wanted to thank everyone that paid their respects to him if I could."
